Sofwave™ is effective and suitable for all skin types and colours. A good candidate for Sofwave™ is typically those in their 30s and older who have mild to moderate skin aging. The potential patient should have some degree of fine lines and wrinkles.

Not suitable for candidates who have:

• open wounds or lesions
• severe or cystic acne, open wounds
• pacemaker or metal implant in treatment area

Most patients only need one treatment, however some may benefit from an additional treatment depending on their body’s physiological response to the treatment.

Immediate results can be seen as soon as 1 week following the treatment. However, the collagen regeneration process can sometimes take up to 12 weeks, so patients are expected to see ongoing improvements in the 3-month period after their treatment.

2 weeks prior to Sofwave treatment, avoid using products with vitamin A, avoid dermal filler/botox in treatment areas, ensure treatment areas have no open wounds or lesions.

As the ultrasound energy is delivered, patients may feel warmness of the skin.

Sofwave is a non-invasive treatment with minimal to no downtime.

Possible redness and/or swelling after treatment however it should subside in a few hours. There should be no pain after treatment is complete however treatment area may feel warm and tender.

2. Consult & optional numbing | 45 mins
3. Sofwave treatment | 60-120 mins

2 weeks prior – avoid dermal filler/botox in treatment areas.
24 hrs post – avoid make up, strenuous exercise and heat.
1 week post – use a gentle cleanser and apply sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30. Avoid using products with active ingredients, sun exposure, alcohol, smoking and other professional laser/energy based treatments.
2 weeks post – avoid dermal filler/botox in treatment areas
3 months post – a follow up appointment is scheduled to compare your before and after photos to reveal your most visible results at 3 months!
